It’s quite hard to get a photo that captures how steep a hill your cycling up is but I reckon I got it in this one on the back road from to last June. This a great route BTW especially as the main road is too narrow & busy to be a pm ascent cycle, the alternate is a quiet road that hugs the coast for part of its length with a couple of ruined castles and a stretch of modest cliff views over to and beyond that

@AndrewFlood I cycled that last summer, including a bit of wild camping. It’s a beautiful area.
