@BeebsyMcA my Dad grew up in the Co. Antrim countryside, and I got regaled with tales of how linen was grown, processed, woven. In his later years, when he couldn’t remember 30 mins beforehand, he could still tell me all about linen.
We inherited loads of lovely linen table cloths, tea towels, hankies that my parents had got as wedding presents and kept stored away “for good” - we use them daily.
I’ll try to attend some of these events.
