@EugeneMcParland I don't understand Bidens caution. Anyone know? Seems like adding members into NATO would be a plus. Biden didn't raise concerns when other countries chose to enter.
@AnnMorris @EugeneMcParland NATO membership involves a formal mutual protection pact. If Ukraine were an actual member, the US would be required by the treaty to go to war “for real” against Russia, drastically escalating things and making nuclear weapons use far more likely.
