The General Assembly of the #Olympic Council of #Asia voted to allow a maximum of 500 competitors from the countries to compete so that they may seek to qualify for the 2024 Paris #Olympics.
The International Olympic Committee has said a pathway for the athletes' participation in #Paris should be explored.

@EugeneMcParland And what are we going to do with the boos and the insults every time the Russian athlete shows up? Or that no athlete will want to be seen with a Russian? Or worse: Are we really going to play the national anthem in the event of a gold medal? That would be a cynicism worthy of Hiltler in 1936.
