Infrapink (he/his/him)

I got a just a few months before the launched. Here are my top 5 games for it.

: Seriously, if you have a Wii U, grab this before the shop shuts down.

: Infinite 2D Mario levels in four different styles? Yes please!

: An absurdly sexy witch kills angels in the most over the top manner imaginable

: Even more Pikmin!

: Nintendo makes an online shooter, and knocks it out of the park.

@Infrapink The U is awesome! We got ours SUPER late. There's still a couple games I want for it (Deus Ex, Kirby) but Mario 3D World is one of mine. My favorite Mario game. Another is Bit Dungeon Plus (which I also have on Switch, and was on the 3DS too). Tropical Freeze I can appreciate as a beautiful LOOKING game but I'm HORRIBLE at it, the mechanics are so off, to me. So.. honorable mention. Duck Tales Remastered is my #3. Can I count virtual console? Played a lot of Mappy on it haha. I love Kart 8, that's my #4. #5 is probably Rayman. Other honorable mentions: Tank! Tank! Tank! and Nano Assault. One thing that was so cool with the U was that gamepad, wifey could play on it like a handheld and I could still see it on the TV- something we don't get with the Switch since the whole console is handheld. I miss that. My wife is SO good at games (MUCH better than I am) haha

@jake4480 Agreed on the gamepad. It's a really cool idea that sadly wasn't used to its full potential except in cases like Affordable Space Adventures and : Maiden of Black Water.

I'm hoping Nintendo's next console is a hybrid like the Switch, but with some circuitry in the dock so the console can stream data to the TV and thus replicate the Wii U experience. And ideally have a dual-screen structure à la the DS for off-TV play and (3)DS ports.

@Infrapink yeah, that would be awesome. I don't get why some people hated the U so much - not enough great games maybe? Other than it being kinda odd, it's a a great machine.
