Daffodils bring a splash of colour to St Mary's Church of Ireland, #Maynooth on a wet day.

The church stone looks reddish in the wet. The square crenellated church tower is typical of Norman churches. The gothic windows are just visible over the wall of St Patrick's College. Two bare trees stand guard between the church and the viewer, and a swathe of yellow daffodils among the sodden green of the grass brighten up the scene.
