I think it’s maybe because it’s harder to find instantaneous engaging content here and it ends up feeling like it’s a little bit too much work to be here. While ‘over there’ the algorithm, which is pretty awful right now, but when it did work helped provide the content that was very engaging to me as a user. Just thinking out loud…
@Debs it's hard to find ANYTHING on #Mastodon because of a policy of no #search except #hashtags. All you can do is set filters (or is that notifications? I forget) for keywords of interest to you and hope that some post gets caught by them like flies in a cobweb.
