There’s a lot of gunfire in this!
The show jumps from NBC to a new life in syndication. There’s a new cast; a new city; a new beginning.
#TimThomerson plays a villain with a super-truck, but the a-story gets short shrift because so much time is spent establishing the new cast and status quo. All of which feels a little flat here. #JoeNipote, however, back from the NBC version, is great fun and the episode is stronger in the second half when everything has been set up.
The action climax is impressive, but it’s too late to raise the overall episode from “average”.
