Silly, lukewarm movie that could have been better.

1️⃣ High-schooler (a) sleeps with the new basketball coach (), and (b) hypnotises his buddy () into thinking he's NBA All-Star .

2️⃣ The trigger word is , btw. It's not the kind of movie where there are consequences for anything that happens. Nope. Truly, the were a different time!

3️⃣ Star Crosby is the best thing about the movie. She's gorgeous, and completely comfortable/convincing with all the athletic stuff.

4️⃣ Most of the comedy falls flat and there are long stretches where nothing interesting happens, but the core romance is not without its charm.

5️⃣ Most of the time, it feels like a TV movie or a pilot. And it's no great surprise to learn that the producers were talking of CBS turning it into a weekly TV series.

✅ Worth watching for Crosby.
