#HarryO s1e11 & s1e12 (1974) - 6/10
#CraigStevens and #BroderickCrawford: 15 years earlier they were laying down the law, on #PeterGunn and #HighwayPatrol, but in this 2-hour story they are causing all sorts of problems for #DavidJanssen and #JoannaPettet.
It’s a standard tale. Protagonist arrives in closed community, starts asking questions, gets in trouble for it. This #StephenKandel script doesn’t add much you haven’t seen before. There’s a bland love story in the mix.
The cast are good, and it really feels like Harry can’t possibly win this time. Everyone is against him. Even the town sheriff. Manny pitches in, and gives a lot of help in part two. And the conclusion is suitably cynical.
Worth watching, but earlier episodes are way better.
