The story is okay, but the telling of it is clumsy.

Shevaun and the #XMen fight evil in a small, sealed microverse.
Mostly it's just fighting. Complex explanations are given in the narration boxes. There's a disconnect between the epic concepts in those boxes and the fact that we're just watching a very bland X-Men battle.
This is the first issue to feature #TheXMen on every page.
