Virus geneticists have come to a concensus about what happened in Okinawa, a yet undesignated form of XBB.1.16.: https://ibb.co/5BDtx9X
Boosters based on XBB.1.5 will be available in Sept or Oct.They're not a perfect match to what's going to be going around by then (XBB.1.5 is on its way out) but they should be a very good match for protection through the winter. Remember vaccines take 2 weeks for full protection!
