I’m so happy, as PI (Ruth here running this account) of #VikingDublinDogs, to be able to gather support from @NationalMons & I’m extremely grateful to the Chief Archaeologist, Michael MacDonagh for this support. This will help date so many dogs & inform us on their chronologies & coupled with other results 1/2
- stable isotopes, bone measurements analysis and aDNA, will be so informative about Irish & British dogs from a time we know little about dogs from, & their roles in human societies during, Viking-Age & Medieval periods. #VikingDublinDogs #JoinThePack
