@vegafilm@mastodonapp.uk MY FIRST BETRAYAL: I was about 5 when the original THING was first on television& I begged parents (who hired a babysitter to mind us that night) to be able to stay up to watch (I was a young scary film fan) AND they said if I went to bed the babysitter would wake me for movie--BUT she NEVER did. THE #Treachery !! I still adored Betty-Jean who taught me to make flowers from paper tissues with bobby pin stems, so a good soul who was turned traitor by my betraying parents....
