The paratroopers are not showing their ID (they show it to the police), they're probably getting their bags inspected.
Which I kinda find more hilarious. Especially because while the police is supposed to check everyone's ID, the Customs check whoever they feel like.
In other words, they're fucking with the Brits because they can.
