Took child 1 down to the docks in #Galway to check out the #Tara, a scientific vessel that’s travelled all over the world, including across the North Pole and up the Amazon river! We got a lil tour, 15 mins about the boat and its history and mission and then another 15 mins breaking down the process of collecting data, sampling and analysing seawater. Kid was incredibly into it (he’s an avid #Octonauts fan after all) and well able to follow it – impressed and delighted for the lil 5yo tyke.
