I splurged on a racing wheel for my playstation recently (a #LogitechG29) and I've probably only spent two hours in #GranTurismo7 with it.
Great for immersion, but not for lap times. I'm having to learn to drive all over again.
I bought a 6 spd shifter too, it's an order of magnitude more difficult to get right.
After half an hour of not going anywhere very quickly (it's impossible to catch a slide) I've had to turn all the assists back on, just so I can complete a lap without spinning.
@cianhan took me a while to used to a wheel too. Make sure you’ve got all the force feedback set up right too. And that the wheel has the latest updates - you’ll have to download Logitech software to your computer and plug the wheel into it too. I now can’t drive on a pad. I’m not quick anyway on wheel.
