The UEFA Nations League starts on 21 September. Rubiales is vice-president of UEFA.

I wonder if every player not on strike would wear some kind of shirt in solidarity.

Or, ideally, participate in the strike itself. Just both teams walk off the pitch after the anthems.

That's an excellent idea. Even more powerful if the men would come out with a gesture of support too. The next round of Euro 2024 qualifiers is on 7 September, so they have enough time to plan to do something in solidarity.

(I wouldn't hold my breath though. Or for Rubiales to jump/be pushed by the end of September.)
