Krull (1983) is more a sword-and-planet than a sword-and-sorcery film and has a lot in common with Star Wars. It includes every fantasy cliché imaginable but it looks fabulous and has energy, enthusiasm and style. And lots of action. Pure fun.

When they have gotten the Fire Mares, and Rell tells Ergo he has to stay behind. Ergo's reply always gets me: "We had no time."
@d4doome With D&D players in the 80s, cheesy sword & sorcery movies were like shooting fish in a barrel. You were going to go see it, and probably like it, even if somewhat grudgingly.
@d4doome I especially like the idea that getting married gives you the ability to shoot "love fire" out of your hand!
Also... RIP Cyclops. They did you dirty.
