Are any of my #mastodaoine in or around Waterford making their own #kefir ? I'm looking for a starter culture, hoping for an offcut. Could perhaps offer some aquarium plants in trade (java fern and a floating plant)
I've made it in the past simply by buying it from the supermarket and putting some into fresh milk (have also had OK results with plant-based milks).
I then save a bit of the resulting kefir for the next batch, and so on.
