With respect, I don't think you've read the room here. Many #mastodaoine are actively opposed to Twitter.
When you post on a social medium, ask for reposts on that same group.
If you think that the smaller reach of this forum does not deserve an entry in a draw then don't mention the draw. Just ask people to repost as support, out of the goodness of their heart.

@PatrickOBeirne @dlchoralsociety I agree, this is not a good look. Its just downright impolite I think. Why could they not include Mastodon accounts anyway? Or if not (for practical reasons) then do as you suggest and not mention the draw.

Thank you for your comments. You are right. I did not read the room and should not have posted here about the draw.

My post was not intended to be impolite or to exclude anyone.

For practical reasons, we are doing the draw on one platform only. We mentioned it on our other social media accounts, so I did so here, too, without thinking it through.

I apologise wholeheartedly for my error.
