New rules for buskers in Cork coming in. Glad to see it as the two groups on Patrick's Street - the leprechauns and the trad music players down by the old Roches Stores are playing their music at levels that hurt the ears when walking past.

@donncha but who's going to actually police it? I know back in my busking days I wouldn't have had the courage to move those leprechaun lads on to take their spot.
@Rubelicious I suspect the local shop owners will make more fuss about it if it's not enforced.
My wife was talking to one, and he said they went to that trad group outside Roches and asked them to turn down the volume. They turned it up instead. :(
If there are better rules, they'll want to see them enforced.
