On this one it is mainly #England fault! Scotland hasn't voted for Tories in 50 odd years, NI they got 0.0something % of the vote & Wales returned a Labour lead Welsh Assmebly!

I think we can all accept at this stage this version of the #Tories is nothing more than an English Nationalist party.

They have no interest in the Union in my opinion and their actions only reinforce it for me. Especially when it comes the undermining of devolution.

It is English but one that belongs to a world pre Suez. When they were coming to end of their influence in the world. It harks back to time of Empire. Which remains in some sections of modern society - furlock tugging to the masters in the big house.

I accept that not everyone in England is like that. You just need to listen to #LBC after 10.00 in the morning to discover that.

However, when the #Tories is the only thing being reported on the news & papers in #NI, it becomes the belief that everyone is like them.

Which happens in reserve just see Mary from Nottingham call to Nolan about us all here.

Maybe we should all take the time to see past the rhetoric?

I wholeheartedly agree John. I think England would benefit from PR.

@jacqui76 @harriettmb House of Commons needs rat traps. Too many there. Too many MPs and their equivalents in devolved parliaments see their job as a stepping stone to a greater income and influence rather than a job in itself
