@jacqui76 I had to turn it off! He’s another one who’s been completely corrupted by association with Johnson. Did he get savaged by the Newsagents team? When I turned off they were all chummy.
It started off all chummy - but they turned on him. They asked very uncomfortable questions of him, his judgment and why he thought that #partygate wasn't that big of a deal.
Plus he said that if we all knew what he did about #partygate the context - we would understand why #Johnson did what he did. They were quite annoyed at him for that.

The sheer arrogance of their “the little people wouldn’t understand, we had to spend the entire time partying, rules don’t apply to people like us” attitude, and then they rail against “elites” ! I’m increasingly disinclined to waste any time on English politics.
It was a tough listen! He was so patronizing - you DON'T really understand. I don't think he helped himself or #Johnson. He came across as sanctimonious.
I am losing interest in the #nonsense at #Westminster. Everyone of them is irrelevant to my life.
