Now what do you think Plan B might be that Leo is talking about?
Direct Rule from London isn't happening especially after the last few election outcomes. The #DUP need to find away to get themselves back into #Stormont and quickly.
If they don't they aren't going to be in a position to hold this place to ransom ever again.

@jacqui76 what’s needed is reform of mandatory power-sharing. Allow any parties to form a government so long as the coalition includes at least one unionist, one nationalist and one non-aligned party. If other parties, even big ones, get frozen out, so be it.
And let governments be formed, and votes in the assembly counted (with the required majorities calculated on that basis), solely from parties that turn up to do their job.
I want #Stormont back. I would prefer that over any form of direct rule that the British have a role in. That means reforming Stormont to allow the parties that want to work, then it needs to happen.
If there isn't any sign of reform, then there is no point in bringing back Stormont. It means that SF/DUP can continue to hold this place to ransom. I would rather shut the place permanently. Let Dublin/London work away through the British/Irish Council.
We need to call the bluff of DUP
@jacqui76 TBF I suspect the British would also prefer a return of Stormont to any direct rule they must be involved in.
I've said it before but I'll say it again. The GFA isn't keeping Ireland from annexing NI. It's keeping England from throwing NI overboard.
