I never really feel like a shortarse, except for when I have to reach top shelves in my kitchen (can't) or when I have to shorten a pants pattern by whole goddamn 10cm / 4in (sob).

@jjcelery At least you'll have some fabric left over that you can use to fix the hem when it wears. I could kicking myself for not keeping the bit that I chopped off, because of course I must have been dragging the hem edge over something and the fabric got shredded. Gah.
@Giselle I bought a whole 3m coupon so one thing I won't be short of is fabric!
