@joloughlin why are things bad?
@Beedazzled Bad is probably pushing it but the weather is causing crop damage in places, it's definitely stopping us controlling weeds, especially the very damaging grass weeds that need treatment before they get too big. Also there are massive changes in regulation currently being discussed as well as the new subsidy regime which is starting next year. Fertiliser prices still too high, fuel as well, grain prices falling and that's all before you consider the glyposate situation.
@Beedazzled The good news is that even though it's been exceptionally mild aphid numbers are low and spraying for them shouldn't be necessary, at least yet. They've probably all drowned...
@joloughlin it is a mite damp
@joloughlin neighbour was saying chicken corn has dropped £1 a bag which is a surprise. Sugar, which we feed the bees in winter, is up and they are using stores like billy oh because its so mild.
