It's been a year since we installed a 5kwh PV system on the roof of our bungalow on the west coast of Ireland.
Our production was 5644 kwh for the year andour overall electricity consumption for 4 persons, with all electric except the heating was 5846 kwh for the period.
Our PV production was thus equivalent to 96% of our consumption!
and self sufficiency is at 72%.
So yes, solar makes sense even for rainy Ireland! #solarenergy #solarpanel #solarpower
