X rolling out a $1 charge in 2 countries in an attempt to stop bots? ... New Zealand and The Philippines .. It's highly doubtful I'd have paid 1 dollar to use Twitter back in the day so does this simply mean you're going to simply have users who really want to be bots joining and paying the 1 dollar? :D

@padraig Yeah Just being able to connect and read posts wouldn't be enough for me (free version) .. it's a trial but 1 dollar in The Phillipines average salary of 308 dollars (I just looked it up) is quite a lot .. not so much in New Zealand but still
