Great three player game of Brass Birmingham last night at Urban Deli. My favorite game, and justifiably rated #1 in on BGG these days (I am biased 
) I have a great canal era, but just could not get the plays right in railway era. Finished last but it was tight, only ~5% between each of us. I loved that we all had different strategies for getting those points #boardgame #BrassBirmingham
@sliabh I played it for the first time at my group last night
My strategy was to boost income during canals, but I ended up with nothing on the board after the era switch and eventually came second (but with a fat stack of useless cash)
@sliabh@mastodon.ie@Koochulainn Yeah, I had runaway income as well (and >50 cash at the end). But my strategy to build box factories fell apart because of beer shortages. I had to sprawl across the map, and had few railway links to bolster my building points #LiveAndLearn
I loved it though. Can't wait to play it again.
Ill definitely be limiting my development to only a few industries next time.
