Darlene McDonald<p>Today, I honored those who marched in Selma by wearing my Historic <a href="https://mstdn.party/tags/selma" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>selma</span></a> t-shirt to brunch with friends. The <a href="https://mstdn.party/tags/15A" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>15A</span></a> gave Black men the right to vote. The <a href="https://mstdn.party/tags/19A" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>19A</span></a> made it so predominantly white women could vote. It wasn’t until they marched in Selma that I was included in We.</p>
