How do you primarily! find e.g. #3dmodel #3dprint content that you need or like?
- Do you use search engines to look for models when you have a problem to solve?
- Do you browse content webpages and collections, follow makes, remixes, links, look for new uploads?
- Do you primarily follow a select group of people or influencers on social media and only visit content websites to check out their work?
It's a puzzle.
It's a drink-coaster.
It's ambient lightning.
It's a party game.

Everyone who uses #SketchUp knows about #FaceMe objects, a near-zero poly 2D image that rotates to match your viewpoint. The drawbacks are that they are flat when you look from the top and distorted from other aerial views.
So, why not use 360 VR but in a hemispherical way, where an object is represented by a series of images based on the angle of the shot, and depending on the angle of view, the image changes to align to the nearest matching angle. Add alpha to cast shadows.
I improved my #esp32s3 LAN enclosure and also made a wall-mount for it with adjustable angle.

It's main purpose ist actually being a #homeassistant BLE proxy, but since the camera was already there, I am also using it to monitor my 3D printer.
Here it is, a proper render of the fox :D
Now all that's left is to finish the animation.

* I never had a chance in life to get a camera. It's not a cheap tech. I guess lot's of people do consider the same, that's why we do art. To do what a camera can and can't both.
* But photography always been there to inspire us all and as a tech geek i love it as a masterpiece tool to capture our beautiful life.

Seit dem wartete dieser praktische Meterstab-Spender, der extra mit viel Freude für das Meter-Lab designt wurde, darauf im Lab einen würdigen Platz zu bekommen. 
Natürlich mit glow-Logo und in metalab-CI Farben gedruckt
