𝑮7𝑰𝙕𝑼 𝑹𝙍𝑫<p>Space Weather</p><p>There are three real-time solar observatories for monitoring the solar wind: ACE, DISCOVR and SOHO. These are all located at the Sun-Earth Lagrange Point "L1", between the Sun and Earth. </p><p>DISCOVR (10 years old) went offline a month ago on 15 July. </p><p>ACE (28 years old) stopped sending data ~18 hours ago. Hopefully this is a temporary glitch, but it's a much longer break than is normally observed. </p><p>SOHO (30 years old) is still operational. As of this afternoon it is the only solar observatory supplying real-time solar wind data.
