Decided to watch A Man called Otto, sweet little film, although miffed the cat was not name checked in the credits.

I just sat here bawling for about 45 minutes. We watched #AManCalledOtto
I laughed a lot in the beginning.
If you haven’t seen it, 100% recommend!

Listening to the English audiobook of "A Man Called Ove" by Fredrik Backman narrated by J.K. Simmons. While I enjoyed Tom Hanks in the English film adaptation, Simmons would have made a truly FANTASTIC Ove / Otto. I don't normally do audiobooks (I have a book group that I really need to finish the book for) but this one has been nice.

Op voorhand wil ik aangeven dat ik het Zweedse origineel niet gezien heb. Dat beïnvloedt voor diverse recensenten en filmkijkers hun oordeel blijkbaar. Maar ik ga gewoon uit van wat ik gezien heb in A man called Otto. Wat een prachtige film: het is zo’n emotioneel verhaal met ook veel humor. En naast Tom Hanks is ook de rest van de cast erg goed. Maar Hanks laat met deze film wel weer zien dat hij een hele grote is en niet voor niets.

I enjoyed watching #AManCalledOtto an incredible #drama #movie with some bits of #DarkHumor.

A #story of a #man that is #annoyed due to everyone being an #useless #idiot, but he can't even commit #suicide properly.

Please watch it. Is enjoyable and #sad at the same time. #DarkHumour can only been seen if you're looking for it.

(Nobody would call themselves “a social media journalist,” - “citizen journalist” or “online journalist” sure; and while I could see people filming a tragedy instead of helping, you wouldn’t hear multiple people saying out loud “film it!” “get it in frame!” etc.)

Okay, that was a surprisingly heartfelt moment I wasn’t expecting. #AManCalledOtto

"A Man Called Otto" is a great #movie.

Heart warming but also sad, a really nice movie.
