I just got about the 20th email from Labor in the past week, trying to convince me that it will be my fault if Dutton gets in, because I didn't give Labor a donation.

Dutton wants to repeat this costly cronyism.
[LNP] 'Morrison government spent $20.8bn on consultants and outsourcing public service in final year, audit finds.'
'The equivalent of 54,000 full-time staff were employed by the federal government in 2021-22, or 37% of the actual workforce.'

Interesting piece about Aussies voting overseas.

My part of the paperwork is now done, & like many have already remarked, for my electorate i also wish i could vote multiple creeps last; ugh.
Now, that i haven't dared to get my hopes up for nothing... again. I will know by this evening.
Dickson should just vote for someone other than Dutton because when the Liberals lose he will resign immediately from parliament. Save yourself the bother of a by election, just vote in someone else, like Labor, or a solid independent. #auspol #Australia #politics
It’s how they roll #auspol #Australia #Politics
@stufromoz Labor always get hounded for not having their costings ready 3 months ahead of announcing policies.
Meanwhile, Libs drop coatings 3 days before the election. #AusPol #AusVotes
@sortius I'm watching my lawn grow because it's much more exciting and dynamic, plus the personalities are more interesting.

I got a haircut today and while I was there the election came up. Another barber, maybe 30, was telling us all how he found out that if the person you put for number one doesn't get in, your entire vote goes to the person you put for number two! And so on. I'm happy he discovered this before voting but I mourn for the political literacy of our nation #auspol
James Paterson (Sen, Victoria, Lib) is 80.73% Dutton (https://politicalgadgets.com/) #auspol #votes_like
