Problem Fox
Tried to remote SSH into my #RaspberryPi earlier and couldn't get in. The connection was closed by the server. My #Agate #geminiProtocol server didn't respond, and #nginx was there but returned 404 for my #smolWeb site.

Just tried physically turning it off and on again and it sat dead.

So I disconnected everything, blew on the SD card pins, tried again. As if by magic everything is working perfectly.

I hate it when it just restarts and you can't find out why it stopped.

Been examining this rock I got for an incredible £5 today under a 60% microscope and I honestly can’t express how incredible it is. I wish I had a macro cam so I could share it with you guys, but damns. Bands, points, zigzags, eyes, botryoidal forms. I’ve died and gone to heaven #rocks #agate #geode

#ThinSectionThursday 🤩 🤓 A C19th thin section of Scottish agate, using different polarized light techniques, from the Heddle collection in the Hunterian museum. Agate is basically quartz, but has a distinctive micro/nano-structure of tiny elongate, often twisted fibres at right angles to the bands. This section is a bit thicker than modern standard of 30 microns so colours are a bit more intense. FOV ca. 2mm wide. See Alt text for more. #Geology #Microscopy #Agate #Mineralogy
