Aptivi<p><strong>Samsung is working on One UI 8 for M33 and F15</strong></p><p>Samsung has recently started testing One UI 8.0 on the Galaxy M33 and the Galaxy F15 smartphones. First spotted by <a href="https://x.com/Mohammed_K_2010/status/1948712204733415455" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Mohammed Khatri (@mohammed_k_2010)</a> on X, who discovered the first build of One UI 8 for F15 in India, while M33’s <a href="https://x.com/Mohammed_K_2010/status/1948766108925694192" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">first build</a> was discovered for Europe, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. Samsung is currently working on optimizing One UI 8 for the two smartphones that will receive this update after the flagships.</p><p>While the M33 gets its fourth (and the last) generation update, after which only security updates will be received, the Galaxy F15 will get its second generation update after One UI 7. Andrzej Czerniak 🇵🇱:linux:<p>W związku z tym, że nie mogłem się doczekać odświeżonego interfejsu, który pojawi się dopiero w Androidzie 16 QPR1, to dołączyłem do wersji beta. </p><p>Instalacja bezproblemowa, większych problemów z działaniem nie mam, ale już znalazłem druga rzecz, która nie działa 😅<br>Tym razem nie da się połączyć przez bezprzewodowe adb, bo brakuje numeru portu. <br>Co ciekawe przy parowaniu jest. </p><p>Problem zgłoszony, i mam nadzieję że poprawia w wersji finalnej, bo jednak czasami używam scrcpy.</p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Android16" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Android16</span></a></p>

It's been weird for years. But ever since I upgraded my <a href="https://bitbang.social/tags/Pixel6" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Pixel6</span></a> to <a href="https://bitbang.social/tags/Android16" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Android16</span></a> the back functionality has been an unmitigated disaster. Swiping from the side of the screen as I have for years often does absolutely nothing. If apps don't provide an actual back button I have to resort to closing the entire app. I have no idea how something this bad got out there and still hasn't been patched</p>
