I get that so-called "Gaming-Distros" like CachyOS, EndeavourOS or Garuda Linux are based on Arch Linux because of the rolling release, but their "user-friendly" approach is inherently against Arch's philosophy:
"Arch Linux official packages do not provide system-wide GUI configuration utilities, encouraging users to perform most system configuration from a command-line shell and a text editor. "
KDE Linux, an immutable Linux distribution built by KDE, is now live!

I don't use #Arch, btw.
The new alpm-srcinfo crate in version 0.3.0 now supports creating #SRCINFO files from #PKGUILD files (with the help of the new alpm-pkgbuild library) - thanks to @Nukesor. ->

Yesterday we released another set of updates for the #ALPM crates.
This also includes additional and updated specifications
The alpm-types crate in version 0.7.0 now has better handling for different types of versions.
This comes in handy in file formats and environments where version handling should be more strict/specific.

The maintainer of XeroLinux (an Arch-based distro) is stuck in a country without many options, and he is asking for your help. He can barely upload ISOs.
I have a dual-boot setup with Debian and Elementary on my laptop, because Elementary was my very first Linux distro, so it’s got a place in my heart.
Anyway, here are some shirts I own, along with two logos and a tux I made at work using the Plasma CNC!

Grazie

The Rise Of A New Generation Of Linux Users
@nausicaea I’m about to start graduate school at the end of August for a Masters of Social Work (MSW). I’ve worked professionally in IT for 22 years and I’m done. My new career goal is to open a private therapy practice. I sadly I never had the opportunity to be a Linux Systems Admin professionally. At home, I run #AlmaLinux, #ArchLinux, #FreeBSD, and #OpenBSD. My home lab is my escape from my hatred of #Microsoft.
