#Glasgow has become as much of nightmare to drive in as Edinburgh in the last few years. That is a big reason I stopped going.

Plus they killed #PaddysMarket and a lot of the quirkier places in Glasgow too. They've built up and over most of the interesting places to go. It has become too #Gentrified. Glasgow succeeds when it is rougher, not when it is Edinburgh-lite. If we wanted that, we'd go to #Ayr.

This is such a good idea - was handed this on entering #Ayr #Tesco - my aunt was handed a different list of 6 items as well.

So different people get different short lists of stuff they can donate.

Since I was here for my aunt to do her shopping, I went off on my own to get this list as something to do as well.

I doubt I’d have donated 6 items otherwise. #SouthAyrshireFoodbank #Foodbank

Been to #Ayr for the first time since the railway station hotel was set on fire last October. Cannot believe that whole building is gone now.
Had walked past so often and never really realised how immensely big it was 😲

RHYMES WITH PRIDE - CARNEGIE LIBRARY, AYR

Still some spaces left if you would like to attend this event with me in Ayr at the Carnegie Library. It'll be my first time performing in the town and I'm really grateful to Amanda and the team for inviting me.

What poems would you like me to read? Let me know in the comments...
