NYC Glue<p>Spent a few hours in <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/OysterBay" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OysterBay</span></a>. The only faces I saw were hispanic or black. Another LI village kept alive by immigration. Used to have a home in nearby <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Bayville" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Bayville</span></a>. As I took the <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/LIRR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LIRR</span></a> spent most time near the train station. Teddy Roosevelt used the original train station (now a museum) and current train users get to sit in the open in front of a vast parking lot. So infinitely glamorous.</p>
