Took the new carbon frame and some new components out for a test ride.
What surprised me about being back on UK roads wasn't the shit state of them or even the awful drivers it was litter. Don't think i registered it before, but after being away it's all i could see.

Second bike ride. Weather even better than Sunday. Pulled the average age of cyclists riding their rides down dramatically. Was struggling the most however.

Last ride in Spain, dad is on the mend so time for me to head back to the UK. Little recovery ride today in near windless conditions for a change. Managed to get stung by a bee/wasp on a fast downhill bit (40mph+). #Biketoot #biketooter #cycling #spain #andalucia
After work, work and work, finally found the time (and energy) to go for my first bike ride of the year. Had to pass out cheap sunglasses along the ride to the public to protect them from my dazzling white legs. While riding uphill some walking ducks overtook me by surprise. The very nice spring sun felt like a scorching heatwave. Passed the large local boulder with people enjoy the climbing and weather.
To speak with a famous Dutch presenter known for his modesty: it was unanimously a ludicrously large success.
Hopefully i'll never have to do a harder fondo. Hills, #gravel & wind oh joy! To compensate all that however was some absolutely epic scenery. #biketoot #biketooter #cycling #spain
