Sweetpea flowers smell so sweet! They’re finally flowering in my community garden plot.
Arctic primrose (Primula pumila) blooming on the aptly named Primrose Ridge near Mt. Margaret in Denali National Park. One of the earliest alpine tundra flowers, it often blooms before the grasses green up. It’s also one of my favorites!

We call this white brush, but some of the old-timers called it bee brush because pollinators love it. Thickets of it bloom en masse about a week after a good rain, and if the rains keep coming, it just keeps blooming over and over all summer long. Its blossoms smell incredible.
