I like to walk. I can call it a #hike or a ramble or a wander or whatever. 30km should not be a problem during the month of August.

Years ago my cancer would not have been detected and could have been a "go home and put your affairs in order" conversation. Due to research there are tests, drugs, procedures and diagnostics that all help.

Yesterday despite the infernal heat I managed to complete the medium course of the Gran Fondo del Mugello. Next year I will definitely repeat both the race and the fundraiser, trying to improve my time of 4 hours and 59 minutes on the medium or even attempt the long course.
