Lorna Peel<p>Ballinafad Castle in Co. Sligo, Ireland was built c1590 to a 13th century design by Captain John St. Barbe on land granted to him by King James I. </p><p>The castle was garrisoned by ten men and was partially destroyed by Red Hugh O’Donnell in 1595.
