Es ist nun schon mehr als ein halbes Jahr her, dass ich mich von #Adobe|s #CreativeCloud getrennt habe. Es hat einige Zeit gebraucht, doch inzwischen schneide ich Videos mit #DavinciResolve, bearbeite Fotos mit @darktable und PDFs mit #PDF24. Und mit jedem Tag werde ich etwas sicherer und freue mich etwas mehr darüber, auch weil ich monatlich 60 Euro mehr zur Verfügung habe. Es geht doch ohne das große A.

Po letech práce v Affinity Photo a občas i v Affinity Designeru jsem se rozhodl vrátit k Photoshopu a InDesignu – hlavně kvůli lepší kompatibilitě s kolegy, kteří jedou na Adobe. Stejně si Creative Cloud platím, tak proč to nezkusit…
Jenže hned první zásek: Photoshop očividně neumí vektory. 
Na to má Adobe Illustrator.
Fakt si nechci plnit disk dalším softwarem na něco, co Affinity zvládne v jednom programu.

#glaxnimate seems like a useful alternative to #AdobeFlashProfessional for doing animations since it's vector graphics, not sure how fully-featured it is yet but I'll check it out.

Tasty Also #adobe #creativecloud is actually malware pass it on. Ridiculously predatory pricing, some of the worst software optimization I have ever seen and the only way to reliably exit the software is to reboot your computer.

Every time I get asked to help someone “fix their slow computer” I’m amazed at the variety of shit people install and forget about. But there’s one constant: f*cking #adobe #CreativeCloud sitting there chewing up RAM and disk. Typically installed (and still being paid for!) because the needed to fill out one PDF form once.
