BristolCX<p>Hello Mastodon. @DurableAce has moved<p>I had a new experience on this morning’s club ride.</p><p>The person in front suffered a rear tyre puncture. The tyre was set up tubeless. At 7pm, a timed hot lap. How quickly you can you ride the course?</p><p>Use any bike. Wider tyres are best, or drop tyre pressure for extra grip. Death, disease, war, famine, and civil unrest, all caused by climate change. </p><p>At this point, I think we all need to be willing to sacrifice a little of our own personal comfort in order to prevent the literal apocalypse. If that means most office workers won't have as many opportunities to socialize, and they feel a little lonely as a result, I'm sorry, but that's a 100% acceptable tradeoff in my opinion. </p><p>If some folks really need that social interaction in order to stay sane, I would suggest they join a local <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/BookClub" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BookClub</span></a> or <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/CyclingClub" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CyclingClub</span></a>, start volunteering with <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/HumanRightsCampaign" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HumanRightsCampaign</span></a>, <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/HabitatForHumanity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HabitatForHumanity</span></a>, etc. There are plenty of other (arguably better) ways to get your steps and social time besides commuting by car to work in an office.</p>
