"Branch Walking Dove" by Debra Martz
Captured this White-tipped Dove at Estero Llano Grande State Park in Weslaco, Texas.
They are birds mainly of Central and South America but some make their way to southern Texas.

White-winged Dove (Zenaida asiatica) in Norman, Oklahoma, United States on February 2, 2025
Some of the camera settings I used to make this photo are at: https://www.rsok.com/~jrm/2025Feb28_birds_and_cats/2025feb02_dove_IMG_2770c.html
Stepped out the front door to find a pair of mourning doves 'borbing' against the cold in the lilac tree about 4m from my face.
Unfortunately I couldn't move to a better lighting position without disturbing them. It would have been an amazing shot with some morning sunlight on the birds.
Farbliche #Harmonie für die #52wochenfotochallenge oder geht das auch als Tontaube durch?
Der Ringeltaube ists egal, sie liebt diese Schale einfach
White-winged Dove, photographed at Chichén-Itzá. I love the eye and eye ring.
