Stepped out the front door to find a pair of mourning doves 'borbing' against the cold in the lilac tree about 4m from my face.

Unfortunately I couldn't move to a better lighting position without disturbing them. It would have been an amazing shot with some morning sunlight on the birds.

A pair of mourning doves mostly silhouetted against lilac branches and a dull grey sky. They are perched side-on in a diagonal with one to the top left of the image and the second to the bottom right. They are both eyeing me warily in case of movement.
