When you start developing film with Rodinal, you realize how short 30 seconds is, and how long a minute is.

So a friend of mine asked me to develop his roll of Fomapan 100. Sure, no problem. But, when I asked did he shot it as box speed, or maybe he pushed it, I got an answer I wasn't prepared for - "I don't remember anymore, a bit under 100, probably 80".
And now I'm sitting here, not having a clue how to develop it - thinking about Rodinal 1+50 at 7 min straight, and hope for the best.
Yes, developed my first role of 120 medium format film and first role at home, by myself. Funny how I dreaded this for so long. Working in a changing bag is a bit getting used to, fortunately I did not go for the smaller bag, 120 paper makes a mess in the bag. Developing took less time then preparing and cleaning up. #120film #analogphotography #ilfordhp5 #filmisnotdead #mediumformat #filmDeveloping #IlfordHP5Plus
Giddy
Look at the nerd boy being all giddy.
The film lab sent him an email saying the received my latest film order. We’re going to have new film shots to play with at some point over the next couple of business days.
Squee, bro… squee.
ok, here I have a #mystery, the #FujichromeR25 #Single8 #film was stored outside for years, wet. When developed to bw it has these triangle patterns on emulsion. some kind of crystallization, but what and how?
