  • Yes, that even counts for #FoodTrucks and other #Event or non-permanent stalls including food vendors on markets and yes those need to have running water inside their booth, tent or vehicle!

I feel so hip. I met James the sushi chef six years ago when he worked at a small, excellent Japanese restuarant on Kauai's west side. He struck out on his own & opened the Sushi Station truck...just named Yelp's #1 sushi in the country! Nice work, James. He always gives me an extra piece (or two!) of salmon, hamachi, or toro. Extraordinary customer-friendliness, I feel like family. Just don't ask the source of his fish.

It isn't a bad idea. The city keeps going after food truck businesses and there should be enough traffic on Water Street.

“Hamdan plans to have up to eight food trucks on the Water Street property, as well as a small bar, he said. His goal is to open by the end of summer or in early fall, he said. Food trucks will include Señor Gordito’s, as well as a Middle Eastern restaurant, a Cuban restaurant and a sandwich shop, Hamdan said.”
