Aspired. Never quite got there.

Star Slammer (AKA Prison Ship) is a 1986 Fred Olen Ray movie so you know it will be crazy goofy fun. A women-in-prison movie set on a prison spaceship but done in good-natured tongue-in-cheek fashion. Fun and silly and exciting and amusing.

What must a great movie have? Obviously cave-dwelling mutant cannibals. Amazon warrior women. A cute robot. Dinosaurs. And Sybil Danning as an evil alien queen in bondage gear. Fred Olen Ray’s The Phantom Empire (1988) has all these things.
